Our Journey Together is so Short

I read the following text somewhere and thought it nice to share it with you.

A young lady sat in a bus. At the next stop a loud and grumpy old lady came and sat by her. She squeezed into the seat and bumped her with her numerous bags.
The person sitting on the other side of the young lady got upset, asked her why she did not speak up and say something.

What History Are You Making?

Today I came across a painting I did a few years back. Another of Life's Simple Joys. It is a sunset showing a section of the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion in Greece built many years back. The temple was built not tens of years nor hundreds, but thousands of years back. Simply put, it was built Before Christ. Sections of it still remain standing today through many generations and will still remain for many to come.
A painting by Anthony Samuel Muiruri - Oil on Canvas

This got me thinking. What I do today, I am bound to meet it some years ahead. It better be a good picture. In addition, what I do today can stand to be seen and touched by many generations to come. It better be a firm structure. So help me God.
Likewise unto you. As the thoughts you think transform into words revealing a vision that turns into substance, let the process leave imprints that future generations will thank God for in appreciation of you walking on this planet. We can't turn back time to change anything either good or bad. What we can do is highlight the good as we avoid any evil in the progression of days. Ask God to help you.

Whatever single thing you choose to do, you are making a history. The question is ........... What kind of history are you making?

Life's Simple Joys

Today am happy for a very simple reason.

Interestingly, when you closely look at life, the greatest joys come from simple things.

Your Day is Blessed

As you wake up today, take a deep breath and say thank you to your maker and keeper. There are many who would have liked to see this day but didn't. Not that you are any better from either of them. It is only through the Grace of God that you live.

Value Your Life.

what's your value

I read the following story somewhere and thought I should share it with you. You can share it too. Enjoy reading.

Don't Pity Yourself

Be Ok with what lacks in you because there's so much that still abides in you.

As you watch this video of Sean Stephenson, think of the great potential that remains in you. Not what you don't have or what you've lost. The future awaits you with open arms. Are you willing to run towards it with gladness? Come out of your prison.

It's the middle of the year.

It's Summer time. Anthony at Piraeus port Greece meeting a client.
Six months have gone by. We are now  more than halfway into the seventh month.

It's a great opportunity to sit and  reflect back. It's also a good opportunity to sit down and look forward.

When things go wrong.

Two days ago I was doing a Facebook live stream. The purpose of that live stream was to achieve two objectives.
Objective #1. Learn practically how to bring a guest on my live streaming. I had seen someone do so on his own live stream and I wished to do so too.
Objective #2. Learn how to adjust the mirrored image to appear correctly. I had experienced this challenge in a previous live stream whereby I had shown a quote but it was not legible because the letters were mirrored. I could be showing some more text in my future shows so I need to know how to do it correctly.
Sadly to say, both of my objectives failed miserably. I could not bring on a guest however hard I tried and secondly I could not correct my mirrored image. So we could conclude that the whole activity was a total failure.
When things go wrong

Your past follows you. Leave some tracks.

Your past follows you.

Rrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnngggggggg! I hear the telephone ring.
I pick it up.
"What's your name?" The caller asks me. Of course this is not the formal way of starting a telephone conversation.

I saw a man with one arm.

Yesterday as I was moving about in the streets I saw a man with one arm.
It was not my first time to see such a man but my heart ached. The man was actually holding a bowl with one hand, the only hand he had and was begging for some loose change. My heart was in pain for several reasons. The man was quite young. He was handsome but had this very sad face that made him look older than his actual age or so I thought.

Give more to get more

Give more get more

Yesterday I said I'm going to share much of my personal stories. This is in order to keep this blog busy. And not only that but also to help a soul here and there. Uplift someone who may be down, encourage someone who may be discouraged and so on and so forth. I hope  and pray to keep this momentum. After I posted this and I shared it on my Facebook I got so much response. Many people watched the livestream that I shared in order to send people to the post. They liked it, they commented, they sent me messages and said much. This feedback I only got because I did something. Likewise, for anything you do, expect something in return whether intended or not. And the more you give, the more you get.

Go out there and give more.

Going Personal

Hello Friend,

This is to let you know that after much soul searching and life searching, I have made some decisions-like we all do time and again, and I needed to share some of my thoughts with you.

Dream on. It's possible

Your dream is possible. Even if you meet with challenges along the way, keep moving. You'll make it.
