How to Get the Best Deal.

Last evening, I and some few great friends who also happen to be my business partners were watching a Robert Kiyosaki video. Among the many wise facts that he gives about financial literacy, I happened to pick one important revelation of how he strikes out the best deals ever on his investments. It makes so much sense to me and I saw the need to share it out with you.

Twenty Years From Now.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
- Mark Twain -

When I look back in my life, I have done quite much in many areas. Have had all kinds of experiences, some good and some bad. That is what life is made up of anyway. It's what makes life interesting in the final analysis.

Rejoice and I say again, Rejoice.

Woke up with a heart of gratitude and expects to meet good things along the way.

Wake up believing the best for the day. Rise up like it's the best day of your life. Step out into a path that is set by the master planner trusting that His plan is not only true but with your ultimate good in His mind. Look out for His goodness in every turn of events thanking Him for His Grace and Mercies. Whatever you look for that is what you'll see. Whatever you search for, that is what you will find. Believe, Ask and Seek for good and ......... there it is.

A tale of two salesmen

There is this tale about two shoe salesmen who are sent to a third world country in search of new business opportunities.
One man calls the headquarters the moment he lands, saying, "I’m coming back on the next flight. There’s no hope here. Nobody here is wearing shoes, so there’s no one to sell to.” and he sure flies back.
The second man calls the headquarters and says, “Hey guys, you wouldn’t believe what I found here. There is so much opportunity. Not a single person here is wearing shoes. We will sell to the whole country and make a fortune. Please send me a shipload of shoes as soon as possible.”

In every given circumstance we all see things from our own perspective and judge things according to our preconceived ideas which at times may be biased. The truth is, there’s opportunity everywhere. When we have a consciousness of expecting a miracle to happen, it will happen. We’ll find the right people, we’ll move in the right circles, we’ll ‘bump’ into the right solutions. It all starts with an open mind. An expectant mind.
Always be on the look out for an opportunity and seize it as soon as it appears.

Be the optimistic salesman.

Live Conciously

Do you ever have a feeling that you’re drifting through life, and not going where you want to go? Or that you don’t know how you got where you are today?
Living consciously is about taking control of your life, about thinking about your decisions rather than making them without thought, about having a life that we want rather than settling for the one that befalls us.
If you’re drifting through life, or feel out of control, or don’t know how you got here … deciding to live consciously could be the single most important thing you do.
Are you living unconsciously now?
Ask yourself the following questions …

Focus on one thing at a time

You can never do everything at the same time. Focus on one thing at a time.

Before forgiveness, choose control

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there."

The little boy then understood how powerful his words were. He looked up at his father and said "I hope you can forgive me father for the holes I put in you."

"Of course I can," said the father.

It's not always anger, it is your actions in general. There are no "fresh starts" in life. There is no new beginning. Forgiveness comes easy for many people but the scars of the past, they never go away. Watch what you do today, because sometimes the price isn't worth the reward.

One day at a time
